Australian actress Nicole Kidman is reportedly to play Dusty Springfield in a new biopic of the singer's life. The 40-year-old star is to team up again with screenwriter Michael Cunningham who scripted her Oscar-winning performance in 2002's The Hours.The movie will chronicle Springfield's rise to fame in the 1960s and touch on her battles with alcohol, drugs and mental health problems before her death from breast cancer in 1999.
